I chose to do the penguin theme on the ace of hearts because I absolutely LOVE penguins. When I thought of a heart, I pictured two penguins facing each other to make a heart so I drew it! I faced many problems with the spreading of the oil pastels. When I tried to blend the blue together, I mixed some black in by accident and it was extremely hard to cover it up! The border of the penguins was really hard to color without dragging the black outside of the line also. I solved these problems by simply taking my time and making sure I covered every bit of white within the boundary. Overall, I am very proud of my card! it turned out exactly as I hoped it would! If I could change one thing, it would be the way my blue blended together. It would be nice if I could make it smoother.
